Issue: User Blocked After Multiple Failed Login Attempts
If a user enters incorrect login credentials more than 5 times, eZee Absolute PMS will automatically block the user for 30 minutes as a security measure.
Error Message Displayed:
"You are blocked by the system for 30 mins, please contact admin or try after 30 mins."
The user will not be able to log in until the 30-minute period is over, unless manually unblocked by an admin.
Solution: How to Unblock a User in eZee Absolute PMS
Only users with admin access can manually unblock other users. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log In as Admin
Use your admin credentials to log in to eZee Absolute PMS.
Step 2: Open Configuration Settings
From the main menu, go to Configuration.
Step 3: Access the "Unblock User" Option
In the configuration panel, find and click on "Unblock User".
A list of all currently blocked users will be displayed.
Step 4: Unblock the User
Find the user you want to unblock from the list.
Click the Unblock button next to their name.
Step 5: Notify the User
The user will now be able to log in immediately.
Inform them to log in again using the correct credentials.
Additional Notes:
✔ If the user forgot their password, they should reset it using the "Forgot Password?" option.
✔ If multiple users are getting blocked frequently, consider checking user credentials and ensuring they are entered correctly.
✔ Always keep admin credentials secure to prevent unauthorized access to unblock users.
