We appreciate the ongoing improvements being made to the PMS. However, two recent changes have had a significant negative impact on front desk efficiency and daily hotel operations.
As a hotel that uses Yanolja Cloud Solution PMS daily for front office operations, we would like to provide feedback regarding recent interface changes.
Manual Receipt Number Entry
The removal of manual receipt number entry has reduced operational flexibility. While automatic numbering is useful, there are situations where hotels need to manually enter or adjust receipt numbers to match accounting procedures, pre-printed receipt books, historical records, or local operational requirements. We recommend restoring manual receipt number entry as an optional feature while keeping automatic numbering as the default.
Stayview Booking Indicators
The recent Stayview redesign has hidden important booking indicators behind mouse hover actions. Previously, reception staff could immediately identify split reservations, pending payments, group bookings, and other important statuses directly from the Stayview screen. Having to hover over each reservation significantly slows down room management and reduces efficiency during busy periods.
We respectfully suggest adding an option to display these indicators directly on the Stayview, allowing hotels to choose between a simplified view and a detailed operational view.
These changes would greatly improve efficiency for front desk staff who rely on quick visual access to reservation information throughout the day.
