How to create Derived Rate plan?

A Derived Rate Plan is a rate plan that automatically calculates its pricing based on an existing (parent) rate plan by applying a fixed or percentage-based increase or decrease. This allows you to manage multiple rate plans efficiently without setting prices manually for each one.

Steps to Create a Derived Rate Plan:

1. Go to the Rate Plan Section

• Log in to eZee Centrix.

• Navigate to: Master > Manage Rooms > Rate Plan.

• Click on Add New to create a new rate plan.

3. Fill in the Details:

• Room Type: Select the applicable room.

• Rate Type: Choose the rate type (e.g., CP, EP, MAP).

• Rate Plan Name: Name your rate plan (e.g., "Deluxe CP Non-Refundable").

• Web Description: Add a description or cancellation policy (if needed).

4. Set Occupancy Details:

• Base Adult / Child: Number of adults/children included in the base rate.

• Max Adult / Child: Maximum number of adults/children allowed.

• (Optional) Enable Configure Max Occupancy to restrict based on the total number of guests.

5. Set Min/Max Nights:

• Min Nights: Minimum number of nights required to book.

• Max Nights: Maximum number of nights allowed.

6. Add Inclusions:

• Mention included services or items (e.g., breakfast, free Wi-Fi, etc.).

7. Select Rate Plan Type:

Choose Derived from the rate plan type options.

8. Configure Derived Settings:

• Parent Rate Plan: Choose the main rate plan this one will be based on.

• Operation: Select whether to increase or decrease the rate.

• Value: Set the fixed amount or percentage to add/subtract from the parent plan.

  Example:

  • Parent Plan: Deluxe CP (₹4000)

  • Operation: Subtract ₹500

  • Derived Rate Plan: ₹3500
    
    

9. Final Settings:

• Rates Inclusive Tax: Enable if tax is included in rates.

• Extra Adult / Child Rate: Optional (can be left blank if inherited from parent plan).

• Sort Key: Set a number to determine the display order.

10. Visibility and Publishing:

• Publish to Web: Enable to show on the booking engine.

• Hide from Booking Engine: Enable only if you don’t want it shown to guests from the booking engine.

11. Add Any Special Notes (Optional):

• Special Condition: Add cancellation or other policy notes.

• Special Highlighted Text: Key selling points in bullet format.

12. Save the Rate Plan

Click Save to create your derived rate plan.
