In eZee Reservation and eZee Centrix, there are three primary types of rate plans that hotels can utilize to manage their room pricing and availability:
Independent Rate Plans:
These rate plans are managed separately from others, allowing hoteliers to set distinct rates from other rate plans.
Changes made to an independent rate plan do not affect other rate plans, providing flexibility in pricing strategies.
Master Rate Plans:
Serving as the primary rate plans, master rate plans synchronize rates across both the Booking Engine and the Channel Manager
Adjustments to a master rate plan automatically propagate to any associated derived rate plans, ensuring consistency across platforms. we can derive multiple rate plans from a single Master Rate plan.
Derived Rate Plans:
These are dependent on a parent (master) rate plan and inherit its pricing structure.
Derived rate plans adjust their rates based on predefined factors relative to the master rate plan. For instance, if a master rate plan is set at Rs. 1,500, a derived rate plan can be configured to always be Rs. 500 higher, resulting in a rate of Rs. 2,000.
This setup allows for streamlined rate management, as changes to the master rate plan automatically reflect in the derived rate plans according to the specified adjustment factors.
Understanding and effectively implementing these rate plan types enables hotels to optimize their pricing strategies, maintain rate parity across distribution channels, and efficiently manage room
