How to configure statuses (dirty/clean) for rooms in eZee Absolute?

Modified on Sat, 31 May at 10:41 AM

By default, rooms in eZee Absolute have two statuses: Dirty and Clean. For example, when a guest checks out, the room status automatically changes to Dirty.

However, if the hotelier wants to add more specific or custom statuses (like Inspected, Under Maintenance, Needs Linen, Deep Cleaning, etc.), those can be created as per the property's operational needs.

Steps to configure custom housekeeping statuses:

  1. Login to eZee Absolute.

  2. Go to Configuration > Housekeeping > Status.

  3. Click on Add Housekeeping Status.

  4. Enter the Status Name (e.g., Inspected, Maintenance).

  5. Select a Color Code that will visually represent this status in the housekeeping section.

  6. Enable the isDirty checkbox if this status should mark the room as dirty. If not, leave it unchecked.

  7. Click Save.
