Where to Find the Holiday Settings

Step-by-Step: Adding a Holiday
✅ Step 1: Go to the Holiday Management Section
Click on Master in the top navigation bar.
Hover over Others and select Holidays from the dropdown.
✅ Step 2: Click on ‘Add Holiday’
On the right-hand side of the Holidays page, click the Add Holiday button.
✅ Step 3: Fill Out the Holiday Details
A popup window will appear. Here’s what to enter:
Field | What to Fill |

Short Code | A quick reference code (e.g., XMAS ) |
Holiday Name | Full name (e.g., Christmas ) |
Date | Select start and end date |
Description | Add details — e.g., “Observed globally on Dec 25” |
Color | Choose a highlight color for visibility |
Click Save once everything is filled.
What Happens Next?
Once saved:
The holiday appears in your availability calendar.
Hovering over the date shows your custom holiday message.
Rooms remain bookable unless you apply restrictions.

Let’s say you add Christmas (Dec 25, 2026):
Description: “Many Christians celebrate Christmas Day, which is a gazetted holiday in India, on December 25 each year.”
Highlighted on the calendar in dark blue
Instantly visible to staff managing bookings.
