How to get started with eZee Mint?

Once you have signed up for eZee Mint, our experts will get in touch with you for a proper assessment of your property and collect details, based on which the software will be configured and ready to use within 3 to 7 working days. 

Can I use eZee Mint in my local language?

Yes, of course! eZee Mint is compatible with all local languages. We can provide eZee Mint in any custom language as per your requirement. The default language will be English and the other will be the custom language you choose. 

Can I import my previous system data into eZee Mint?

Yes definitely. As eZee Mint analyses your property’s previous data to derive accurate pricing, you can choose to import data from your previous system to eZee Mint.

eZee Mint forecasts the optimum rates for your property based on the real-time market and automatically distributes it across the OTA channels. Thus the software must be integrated with a robust and fast channel manager like eZee Centrix. 

Do I need any other technical integrations to use eZee Mint?

Definitely not! eZee Mint works efficiently with a channel manager and requires no other technical integrations beforehand. 

What is the hardware required to use eZee Mint?

eZee Mint works on a normal computer that you use at your property. Thus, you don’t need to invest in any high-end software or devices, making it an ideal choice for hoteliers like you. 

Which browsers are compatible with eZee Mint?

While eZee Mint is a web-based software that is accessible from all major web browsers, we highly recommend using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Opera for the best experience.

What is the minimum internet speed required to run eZee Mint?

eZee Mint software can run on connections as slow as 1 Mbps, without any operational fluctuations. Still, we recommend you invest in a reliable and fast internet provider to stay connected.

What is Dynamic Pricing? Why would I need that?

The goal of dynamic pricing is to find the highest price that guests are willing to pay. This type of pricing is used to maximize your revenue generated and make sure your property gets the right price as per the market. 

What if I have to adjust the rates for a particular day? Can I do it manually?

With eZee Mint, you have the flexibility to adjust rates manually with just the click of a button. 

Do I get preview options before pushing the final rate?

You will get a preview mode (Sandbox mode) during the price setup. Once the property is live, the system will push the rate based on algorithms automatically. 

Is this pricing change in real-time, or do you have any schedule?

Yes, with eZee Mint the price changes are in real-time. If your property matches the criteria based on the algorithm, the system changes the price immediately. 

If my property is new and doesn’t have previous data, how will the rules work?

There is no need to worry if your property is new or doesn’t have any prior data related to revenue. Our experts will use their understanding and market insights to suggest the best way forward. 

Can two or more rules be applied on a single day?

Yes, definitely. If a particular day falls under multiple rules, like weekend or season, eZee Mint will intelligently set the pricing based on the average of the rates reflected. 

Can I set a specific base price?

Yes of course! You can find the option to set up a specific base price using eZee Centrix.

Can I check what prices my competitors are charging for their rooms with eZee Mint?

Yes, you can monitor your competitors’ rate plans, performance insights, pricing strategies, and more with our competetion rates tracker module (CRT) within the eZee Mint.

On which algorithms does the eZee Mint pricing engine work?

eZee Mint’s pricing engine works on multiple scenario-based algorithms, including booking pace, day of week patterns, season, events or festivals, market demand and more. 

Who manages the pricing decisions?

eZee Mint is an intelligent revenue optimization tool that automatically predicts pricing based on market insights, algorithms, historical data, and your competitors’ rates.

On what data will eZee Mint generate the reports?

eZee Mint primarily refers to historical data stored in eZee Absolute (PMS) and, secondarily, in eZee Centrix (Channel Manager). Based on the available dataset, it processes and generates reports. 

How can I benefit from these reports?

eZee Mint’s extensive reporting allows you to stay up-to-date on your property’s performance and track your business’ profit. 

Can I get a revenue forecast report?

Yes, of course! eZee Mint generates accurate forecasting reports based on pick-up trends, occupancy, season, no-shows and other factors, that help you plan your time and resources while having an estimate of your property’s future revenue. Please review "Weekly Revenue Report".

How does your reporting work and what sort of reports do you provide?

Yes, you can export and download any report generated by eZee Mint from your dashboard.

Where is my data stored? Is it safe?

eZee Mint comes with a heavy-duty, industry-standard server and network architecture that ensures maximum uptime, data center security, and firewalls. Moreover, to prevent loss of data due to any unforeseen situation, this information is continually backed up to secondary and tertiary systems hosted on Amazon’s different servers located across the continents. 

How do you take care of system maintenance downtime?

As our maintenance and system update process is scheduled after a detailed thought process, we ensure our clients are informed beforehand about the system update and the expected downtime. The scheduling is done keeping in mind the amount of traffic and the usage statistics of our system, collected from different geographical locations where our system is used; hence, minimizing any possible inconvenience.

Is there any contract or any lock-in period?

No, you don’t need to sign any such minimum period usage contract as it is a recurring subscription software. 

What will be your billing cycle?

Depending upon the payment cycle you choose, YCS will charge monthly or yearly for Mint.

Mint – FAQ for Onboarding

Is Mint a Revenue Management Service? 

No. Mint is a dynamic pricing software that uses AI and data to recommend pricing strategies. We do not provide a full revenue management service — instead, we offer Revenue Management tech support with strategic guidance so your property has the best pricing configuration to maximize revenue and optimize performance.

What kind of setup support will I receive?

We align your OTA distribution and provide suggestions on policies and content during onboarding. You will be responsible for making changes in your OTAs and PMS.

Do you manage my OTA extranets directly? 

No. We do not log into OTA extranets or manage rates, discounts, or inventory directly. You will need to implement all recommendations yourself.

Will you provide ongoing revenue management advice?

We provide 3 months of handholding for guidance and optimization. After that, only technical support (including product training) will be available.

Can Mint have different settings for different room types?

No. One setup applies to all room types — custom settings per room type are not available.

Is AI-enabled pricing automatic?

No. AI is not enabled by default. Our RM support team will assess your property’s AI readiness before activating it

What kind of ROI can I expect from Mint?

With proper usage and OTA hygiene, Mint can deliver 2x to 20x ROI. However, ROI also depends on your hotel’s service quality — poor guest experience will limit results.

Can Mint improve my reviews or photos?

No. Mint focuses on pricing optimization. Pricing cannot fix bad reviews, low-quality photos, or poor service delivery.
