How to Collect Guest ID Information from the Booking Engine?

Introduction

As a hotelier, you may want to collect ID information (such as Passport Number, National ID, Driving License, etc.) from guests at the time of booking through the Booking Engine. This ensures proper record-keeping, verification, and compliance with local regulations.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access Old Extranet

   • Go to Old Extranet > Settings > Property > Field Setting.
     
     
     
     

2. Enable Identity Information

   • Locate the Identity Information section.

   • For each type of ID information you want to collect, set:

     • Visibility = Yes

     • Mandatory Field = Yes (if you want it to be compulsory)
       
       
       
       

3. Save Changes

   • Click on Save to apply the settings.

Outcome

• Once this setting is enabled, when a guest makes a reservation through the Booking Engine, they will be required to enter the ID Information before completing the booking.

• The ID fields will appear on the booking form (as shown in the sample screenshot).
