Simplify Reservation and Walk In Process

There are few suggestions for USA customer like myself would like to be changed or have options to be removed.

On GUEST Detaits tab:

Remove Following Fields:  

Salutation, Phone (Keep Mobile), Gender, Guest Type, VIP status, Nationality, Fax, Registration No, Birth Date, Birth City, Birth Country, Spouse Birth Date,  Wedding Anniversary, Purpose of Visit


Add field on same page to enter the credit card details.  Also add tab to LOCK ROOM Number and tab for PAYMENT POSTING for deposit.


Also when making the reservation and when you reach the payment tab amount is automatically entered in the Amount field.  I know myself have made mistake by clicking reserve even though I have not collected any payment from the guests.  I think field should be left blank and allow user the enter the amount if any collected.  Also instead of clicking Business Source or Others Tab to find the correct form of payment you should put all payment types on one page in drop down box or other easy format.  We should not have to click on different tabs to find the correct form of payment.  


CHANGING ROOM STATUS:

Please add feature which allows multiple room status to be changed in one action instead of doing room by room.  Also when doing Maintenance block mulitiple rooms for long time message apprears "can't block room for than 365 days".  If you have seasonal property and closing certains rooms it's very time consuming doing one room at a time. 


EXTRA CHARGES:

I have rental properties for which we charge cleaning fees per stay and there are other fees which we charge per night.  Create an option where we can add certain fees would apply to certain room type and auto charges to that specific rooms.  As of now we have to manually add those fees and if staff forgets to add it then it's loss of revenue for the property. 


We want to check in process to quick as possible.  Desktop based software works pretty well in doing quick check in.  I think you should take some features from the desktop base check in and reservation screen and apply here.  I think it will make software more user friendly and staff will not have to look for tabs.
