How to create a work order list in eZee Absolute?

In eZee Absolute, creating a Work Order List is essential for managing maintenance tasks reported by housekeeping or guests, such as HVAC issues, faulty equipment, electrical problems, or broken furniture. Here's how you can create and manage work orders:

Steps to Create a Work Order List:

  1. Access the Work Order Module:

    • Log in to eZee Absolute.
    • Navigate to the Housekeeping section.
    • Click on Work Order.


  2. Add a New Work Order:

    • Click on the Add Work Order button.



    • Fill in the necessary details, including:
      • Unit: Specify the area or room requiring attention.
      • Status: Set the current status of the issue (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Completed).
      • Remarks: Provide a detailed description of the problem.
      • Block: Duration for which the room will be blocked until work is done.
      • Assigned Housekeeper: Assign the task to a specific housekeeper or maintenance staff member.
      • The assgined housekeeper will receive a notification of work order he have to complete on his moblile device if the User is created for him and he is logged in the mobile application.


  3. Save the Work Order:

    • After entering all details, click Save to add the work order to the list.



User Privileges Required:

Ensure that the user has the necessary permissions to access and manage work orders:

  • Go to eZee Absolute Configuration.
  • Navigate to User > Edit User > Privileges > Housekeeping.
  • Enable both Access to Housekeeping and Access to Add Work Order.


Viewing Work Order Reports:

To monitor and review work orders:

  • Access the Work Order List Report within the system.
  • This report provides details on all created work orders, including creation dates and current statuses.
