The receipt confirms that the payment has been received and gives the basics of the sale. So hoteliers generated receipts again, received payment, and provided them to guests in the form of email or printed receipts. In eZee Absolute, you can easily print or send a receipt to guests, confirming their payment and providing transaction details. Here's how to do it:
Steps to Print or Send a Receipt:
Access the Reservation:
- Navigate to Front Office > Stay View or Reservation section.
- Click on the specific guest transaction to open the reservation details.
Open Folio Operations:
- Within the reservation, click on Edit Reservation.
- Go to the Folio Operations tab.
Print the Receipt:
- Locate the payment entry in the folio.
- Click on the three dots (options menu) next to the payment entry.
- Select Print Receipt.
Send the Receipt via Email:
- Ensure the guest's email address is added to their profile.
- In the Folio Operations tab, click on the three dots next to the payment entry.
- Choose Send Receipt.
Note: The Send Receipt function requires a valid email address in the guest's profile. To add or verify the email:
- Within the reservation, click on Edit Reservation.
- Navigate to the Guest Details section.
- Enter or confirm the guest's email address.
