How to create room type in eZee Centrix/Reservation?

 To create a new room type in eZee Centrix or eZee Reservation, follow these steps:

1. Log in to eZee Centrix:, 

   
   

2. Navigate to the Old Extranet:

   • After logging in, scroll to the footer and click on "Old Extranet."
     
     

Access Room Type Management:

• In the Old Extranet, go to Master > Manage Rooms > Room Type.
• Click on "Add New" to initiate the creation of a new room type.

Enter Room Details:

• Short Code: Assign a brief identifier for the room name.
• Name: Specify the full name of the room.
• Base Adult/Child: Set the minimum number of adults and children allowed.
• Max Adult/Child: Define the maximum number of adults and children permitted.
• Default Web Inventory: Indicate the total number of such rooms available.
• Inventory Display on Booking Engine: If you wish to limit the number of rooms shown as available for booking, specify that number here.
• Short Key: Determine the display order of the room type.
• Select Amenities: Choose the amenities available in this room type. To configure the amenities, refer to this guide:

• Photo: Upload an image of the room type to display on the booking engine.
• Rate Threshold: Set minimum and maximum rates for the room. This ensures that any rate updates remain within the specified range. For more details on setting rate thresholds, consult this resource:

1. Save the Room Type:

   • After filling in all the necessary details, click "Save" to create the new room type.

Required Privilege:

• Ensure you have "Access To Reservation Panel" privileges to perform this action.
