Q: What is the Occupancy Percentage in eZee Absolute?
A: Occupancy Percentage shows the proportion of available rooms that are occupied during a specific period. It helps evaluate the hotel’s room utilization performance.

✅ Occupancy Percentage Formula

Occupancy % = (Total Room Sold × 100) / Total Rooms

Where:

  • Total Room Sold =
(Number of Night Sold Bookings × 1) + (Number of Day Use Bookings × 0.5) + (Number of Complimentary Rooms × 1)

  • Total Rooms = Total available rooms in the property

✅ Example:

  • Night Sold: 50 → 50 × 1 = 50

  • Day Use: 10 → 10 × 0.5 = 5

  • Complimentary: 5 → 5 × 1 = 5

Total Room Sold = 50 + 5 + 5 = 60

Total Rooms = 100

Occupancy % = (60 × 100) ÷ 100 = 60%
