How to Assign Bookings/Rooms in eZee Absolute?

In eZee Absolute PMS, once a guest arrives at the hotel on their scheduled arrival date, the Front Desk Operator must allocate a room based on their booking. This process is known as Assigning a Room in the system. If a room was not assigned at the time of making the reservation, it will appear as an Unassigned Reservation in the system.

There are several ways to assign a room in eZee Absolute PMS:

1. Assigning a Room via StayView

StayView provides a visual representation of your property's room status.

• Unassigned bookings appear in blue under the respective room type row.
• Click on the blue number indicating unassigned bookings.
• A window will appear where you can select and assign an available room by clicking on Assign Room.

2. Assigning a Room from Reservations or Arrivals

You can also assign a room directly from the Reservations or Arrivals list.

• Go to eZee Absolute PMS.
• Click on Reservations.
• Select either Reservations or Arrivals from the dropdown.
• Locate the unassigned booking and click Assign Room.
• Choose an available room from the list and confirm the assignment.

Important Notes:

1. Ensure that your user account has the necessary Assign Room Privilege enabled in the User Settings of eZee Absolute Configuration.
   • Navigate to eZee Absolute Configuration.
   • Go to User settings.
   • Edit the desired user profile.
   • Under Privileges, enable Front Office > Assign Room.
     
     
2. If a room is not assigned at the time of booking, it will remain unassigned until manually allocated using one of the methods above.
