How to Split a reservation in eZee Absolute?

Split Reservation: 

In eZee Absolute, you can split a reservation when a guest requests to change rooms during their stay. This flexibility allows our users to assign higher-category rooms to guests, upsell their rooms, and better manage their inventory. This feature also enables our users to assign multiple rooms to a guest before their arrival, which enhances accuracy and efficiency by completing the room assignment process in advance. This results in providing exceptional guest experiences during check-in.


Note: After the split reservation is done, and the guest is moved to another room, you need to click on that reservation and select 'Move Guest' under more options. This step is necessary to ensure that further operations can be carried out smoothly.


How to Access: In order to split reservations in the Absolute PMS system please follow the below screenshot & video.



Steps to Split a Reservation

1. Open the Reservation

  • Log in to eZee Absolute.
  • Go to Front Office > Reservations.
  • Find the reservation that needs to be split and open it.

2. Select the Split Option

  • Click on the More Actions dropdown.
  • Select Room Move.



3. Enter Split Details

  • Choose the new check-in and check-out dates for the split part or for the next room.
  • Select the new room type.




4. Confirm and Save

  • Review the split reservation details.
  • Click on Save to finalize the split.
  • Now the reservation will be displayed as splited in two different rooms with Split icon.


How to Undo Split the reservation easily in eZee Absolute?

Steps to Split a Reservation

1. Open the Reservation

  • Log in to eZee Absolute.
  • Go to Front Office > Reservations.
  • Find the reservation that needs to be split and open it.

2. Select the Split Option

  • Click on the More Actions dropdown.
  • Select Room Move.
  • Checkmark the override room rate option if you want to apply room charges of new room


Enter Split Details

  • Choose the new check-in and check-out dates for the split part or for the next room.
  • Select the previous room type in which the complete reservation was


 Confirm and Save

  • Review the split reservation details.
  • Click on Save to finalize the split.
  • Now the reservation will be displayed a single room
