If any hoteliers visit live chat support and inform us that, while clicking on ID scanner button they are getting message ID Scanner not responding. We need to check some of the possibilities which are as follows.
- The above message can raise in some of the scenarios, first is integration files have been removed due to machine windows changes. We may check the same in path C:\Program Files (x86)\eZee if the file exists or not.
- The second thing we need to make sure that eZee Host file of ID scanner is running in the taskbar. If it is not go to service file as captioned above and run the service as an administrator.
- Add the icon of eZee Host file on Desktop so it will be easily accessible, and a checkmark on autorun on startup so it will automatically run at windows restarts.
The above troubleshooting will resolve the concern with ID scanner Service not responding to errors, and we should be able to scan IDs or passports easily.
