How to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in eZee enhances the security of your account by requiring an additional verification step during login. Follow the steps below to activate MFA:

EZEE RESERVATION:

1. Access Security Settings:

• Log in to eZee Reservation (Old Extranet).
• Navigate to Settings > Security Settings.
• Enable the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) option.

2. Activate MFA for Specific Users:

• After enabling 2FA, go to User Management:
  • Navigate to Users.
  • Select the user for whom you want to enable MFA.
  • Click on Setup 2FA.

3. Configure the Authenticator App:

• A QR code will be displayed on the screen.
• Open your preferred authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator) on your mobile device.
• Scan the QR code using the app.
• The app will generate a 6-digit verification code.
• Enter this code in the 2FA Code field in eZee Absolute and save the changes.

4. Logging In with MFA:

• After setting up MFA, log out of your account.
• During the next login, after entering your username, password, and hotel code, you will be prompted to enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
• Enter the code to complete the login process.

ABSOLUTE CONFIGURATION:

1. Access Security Settings:

• Log in to eZee Absolute Configuration.
• Navigate to Settings > Security Settings.
• Enable the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) option.

  • Navigate to Users.
  • Select the user for whom you want to enable MFA.
  • Click on Setup 2FA.

  • Click on Setup 2FA.

• Scan the QR code using the app.

Once the user adds the correct code, they can see the below options and will be able to login into the product.

Note: If an incorrect code is entered, the system will prevent access. Ensure that the time on your authenticator app is synchronized correctly.
