How to mark Maintenance Block (Lock Rooms) in eZee Absolute?

Maintenance block is, the steps for setting a room Out of Order and Out of Service are the same. Still, the reasons are quite different: Out of Order(OOO) is typically used when a room is being renovated, undergoing repairs, or cannot be used.

To mark a room as Out of Order (OOO) in eZee Absolute, follow these steps:

• Access Maintenance Block:

  • Navigate to: Menu (≡) > Housekeeping > Maintenance Block.

• Block a Room:

  • Click 'Block Room'.
  • Select the room(s) and date(s) to block.
  • Save your changes.

 

Prerequisites:

• Ensure housekeeping units, statuses, and remarks are configured: Housekeeping > Housekeeper, Unit, Status, Remarks.

User Privileges:

• Verify that the user has 'Access to Block' permissions: Configuration > User > Edit User > Privileges > Housekeeping > Access to Block.
