How to mark Maintenance Block (Lock Rooms) in the eZee Mobile App?

Maintenance block Is basically, the steps for setting a Room Out of Order and Out of Service are the same, but the reasons are quite different: Out of Order(OOO) is typically used when a room is being renovated, undergoing repairs, or cannot be used

 System Configuration:

• Navigate to eZee Absolute PMS → Master → Reasons
• Set up Reason Unit, Status, and Remarks

User Privileges:

• Go to eZee Absolute Configuration → User
• Select Edit User → Privileges
• Under Housekeeping, enable Access to Block

Once the prerequisites are met, the system will allow you to block rooms.

How to Access: In order to perform the Maintenance block room please follow the below steps and video.

 Please find the steps below:

1. Open the eZee Mobile Application

   • Launch the Hotel PMS & Channel Manager app.

2. Access the Maintenance Block List

   • Tap on the Menu (☰ hamburger icon).
   • Navigate to Maintenance Block List.

3. Select Rooms to Block

   • Tap on + (Add Block Room).
   • Select the rooms you want to block.
   • To block all rooms, tap "Select All".
   • Click Next.

4. Set the Date Range

   • Choose the Start Date and End Date for the block period.
   • Click Next.

5. Select the Block Reason

   • Choose the reason for blocking the room.
   • Click Next.

6. Define Room Status During Block Period

   • Select the status for the blocked rooms.
   • Click Block Room.

You will see a confirmation message: "Room Blocked Successfully."
