A balance transfer in eZee Absolute refers to the process of moving the entire financial balance (such as room charges, taxes, and other fees) from one folio (an account where charges are recorded for a guest) to another folio. This is typically done when you need to transfer the balance of one guest to another, or when the balance needs to be moved from one room's folio to another.
Access the Reservation:
- Navigate to Front Office.
- Select the desired reservation.
Initiate Balance Transfer:
- Click on Edit Transaction.
- Go to the Folio Operations tab.
- Click on More.
- Select Transfer.
Select Destination Folio:
- Click on Select (Destination Folio).
- If the folio is visible, click Select.
- If not, search for the folio using the provided criteria.
Confirm Transfer:
- After transferring, a success message will appear.

User Privileges Required:
- Ensure the following privileges are enabled:
- Privileges > Cashiering > Transfer item from Folio
- Privileges > Cashiering > Transfer item from Folio
