A reservation cancellation means informing the hotelier that the guest is not arriving as per the scheduled arrival date. There may be several reasons to cancel future reservations.
Canceling a reservation in eZee Absolute PMS can be done in a few simple steps. You can cancel reservations directly from Stay View or the Reservation List.
How to Access: In order to cancel a reservation please follow the below steps and video.
Methods to Cancel a Reservation:
1. Cancel from Stay View
- Log in to eZee Absolute PMS.
- Go to Stay View.
- Click on the reservation you want to cancel.
- Select the More option.
- Choose Cancel Reservation and select a cancellation reason.
- You can also add the cancellation charges if you are charging the guest for cancellation. Later on you can settle the pending charges
- Click Save to confirm.
2. Cancel from the Reservation List
- Log in to eZee Absolute PMS.
- Click on the Reservations section.
- Search for the reservation using filters.
- Select the reservation.
- Click on the More option.
- Choose Cancel Reservation and select a cancellation reason.
- You can also add the cancellation charges if you are charging the guest for cancellation. Later on you can settle the pending charges
- Click Save to confirm.
Report: For Cancelled reservations, we can refer to the "cancel reservation" report.
Prerequisite: User Privileges
Make sure your user account has permission to cancel reservations:
- Go to eZee Absolute Configuration.
- Navigate to User settings.
- Select the user profile.
- Enable the privilege: Reservation > Cancel Reservation.
