The term "Reservations" refers to the process of reserving a particular type of room for a specific guest for a given period. On the other hand, a 'Walk-in' is a guest who arrives at the accommodation without having made a prior reservation, seeking accommodation for the night.
Video Tutorial: In order to Walk-In / New Reservation in the system refer to the below videos and steps.
Step 1: Access the Reservation System
- Log in to your eZee Absolute account.
- Click on Add Reservation or directly select a room from the Room Status screen.
Step 2: Enter Guest and Booking Details
- In the Quick Reservationwindow, fill in:
- Guest Name
- Arrival & Departure Date
- Number of Guests
- Room Type and Rate Plan
- Click Reserve to save the booking.
Step 3: Check-in the Guest (For Same-Day Arrival)
- If the reservation is for today this means system date and reservation check-in date is same, a Check-in button will appear. Click it to complete the check-in process.(The system date might not be correct if the Night Audit is not performed.)
- If the booking is for a future date, only the Reserve option will be available.
Prerequisite: User Privileges for Reservation
Before making a group booking, ensure the user has permission to add reservations:
- Log in to eZee Absolute Configuration.
- Click on Users and select the user you want to edit.
- Click on Edit User.
- Navigate to Privileges > Reservation.
- Ensure that "Add Reservation" privilege is enabled.
