When you need to book or reserve more than one room with fewer key presses in the eZee Absolute PMS system, it is called a Group reservation. By default, the reservation type is set as a “confirmed booking,” ensuring a definite reservation of the rooms.
However, if the booking date is not yet confirmed, you have the option to add a reservation in the system by selecting the reservation type as “unconfirmed.” This unconfirmed reservation does not affect the inventory, and it will not be visible on the stay view, even if a room is assigned to that reservation. It allows you to hold the booking without committing it definitively, which is useful when you need to temporarily reserve the rooms until the booking date is confirmed.
How to Access: In order to perform group reservations in the eZee absolute PMS system please follow the below steps and video.
Location: eZee absolute PMS >> Click on “Add Reservation”
>>Walk in / New Reservation OR from Stay View drag mouse pointer followed with selecting a room and update no. of rooms with more than 1.
User Privilege: eZee absolute configuration >> User >> Edit user >> Privileges >> Reservation >> Add Reservation.
Path : Login into eZee Absolute -> FrontOffice (Tab) -> Walk-In/New Reservation Tab

>> Fill guest detail form and add the no. of rooms as shown in the below Screenshot.

You can view that Group booking from Reservations >> Checkmark the Group reservation button.
