How to Take a Quick Group Booking in one shot with the Required number of Rooms in eZee Absolute?

Yes, It is possible to take a quick group booking with the required number of rooms in one shot. as we just have to select the number of total rooms we have to book against each room type

In order to take a quick group booking in eZee absolute please follow the below steps and video.

Steps to Make a Quick Group Booking

1. Log in to eZee Absolute.
2. Click on Add Reservation in the Front Office module.
3. Checkmark the Quick Group Booking checkbox.
4. Select the total number of rooms required for each room type.
5. Choose the meal plan, enter pax rates, and fill in guest details.
6. Click on Reserve to confirm the group booking.
   
    

Important Note:

• If the 'Room selection' setting in configuration is set as mandatory while taking reservations, the "Quick Group Booking" option will not function. Ensure this setting is adjusted accordingly.
• This is because when using “Quick Group Booking ,” the system blocks selected number of rooms in the specified date range, but the reservations remain unassigned.
• Since mandatory room selection requires assigning rooms during booking, the system prevents the reservation.
• To use this feature, ensure Room Selection is not mandatory in the configuration.
• To check this setting Go to Configuration panel and follow this path Settings>>General>>Check in reservation Settings and remove the checkmark from the option of "Set Room selection Compulsory"

Prerequisite: User Privileges for Reservation

Before making a group booking, ensure the user has permission to add reservations:

1. Log in to eZee Absolute Configuration.
2. Click on Users and select the user you want to edit.
3. Click on Edit User.
4. Navigate to Privileges > Reservation.
5. Ensure that "Add Reservation" privilege is enabled.
6. Save the changes and exit.
