How to auto allocate rooms to a group booking in eZee Absolute?

Assigning rooms to group bookings in eZee Absolute PMS can be streamlined using the Auto Room Allocation feature. This tool automatically assigns available rooms to all members of a group reservation, eliminating the need for manual assignment.

Prerequisite: User Privileges

Ensure your user account has the necessary privileges to utilize the Auto Room Allocation feature:

1. Navigate to eZee Absolute Configuration.
2. Select User settings.
3. Edit the desired user profile.
4. Under Privileges, enable Front Office > Assign Room.
   
   
   

Steps to Auto Allocate Rooms to a Group Booking

1. Log in to eZee Absolute Front Office.
2. Go to the Reservations section.
3. Switch to the Group tab to view group reservations.
   
   
    
4. Click on the specific group reservation you wish to manage.
5. Select Edit Reservation to modify booking details.
   
   
   
   
6. Navigate to the Guest Details section.
7. Click on Group Guest List to view all guests in the group.
8. Press the Auto Assign Rooms button.
   
   
   
   
   

The system will then automatically allocate available rooms to each guest in the group based on current availability.

Important Note:

• If rooms were not assigned during the initial reservation process, the booking will remain unassigned until rooms are allocated using the steps above.
