If we see the above message while generating the key from the eZee absolute software we need to Close the Door lock software. Then we can try generating the card again the message shows the Com Port opening giving an error while sending data to the Door lock software.
- It can be possible that the Com port number of the Door lock software has been changed.
- We can open Door lock software and check the reader setting and check on which port it’s connected.
- We can make the changes in port if it is changed and run the Host file again as an administrator and check if it’s generating or not. This will resolve the above concern and hoteliers should be able to generate cards from eZee Absolute Software.
- This concern can also arise if in eZee host file someone has changed the reader model from the actual model client is having. We can find the reader model from the Door lock software by clicking on the reader setting.
5. This could be also possible if any changes are made to the reader model.
Above Troubleshooting will resolve the concern with Error: 1 while generating the card from Absolute.
