Error Code: 5, Fail to generate a card. For Operation. – Keycard.

If we see the above message while generating key from the eZee absolute software we need to ask hoteliers to provide system password of Godrej/BT Lock. the (Must be provided by Door lock vendor only)


  1. The System Password of the Door lock is not in eZee Host file.


  1. We can Simply ask hoteliers to provide system Password (SID) which can be obtained only from the Door lock Vendor.


  1. Once we receive a password from the hoteliers, we can inpout in eZee host file. Then we can try to generate the card and check. This will resolve the above concern and hoteliers should be able to generate card from eZee Absolute Software.

  2. There can be more Error codes for Godrej Error:2 Represent Card is not placed on Encoder, Error:3 Card Type Placed having any Error, Error:4 Read Card Error, Error: 6 Write card Error.


Above Troubleshooting will resolve the concern with Error: 5 while generating the card from Absolute.
