How to create task for housekeeper & how the housekeeper will come to know about it from PMS application?

From Absolute we can create different tasks for housekeepers, Once we create the task on any reservation, the Assigned Room Housekeeper will get a notification on his mobile application.

Steps to Create a Housekeeping Task

  1. Open the Reservation
    • Navigate to Front Office > Reservation List/Stay View  > Select the booking Click on edit reservation.



  2. Assign Housekeeping Task
    • Go to booking details and click on Task
    • Click on the Add Task option and selet the task for House Keeping
    • Enter the task details (e.g., extra bed setup, room sanitization).
    • Assign it to the housekeeper and set a due time.





  3. Notification to Housekeeper
    • The housekeeper will receive a mobile notification about the task.

Task Completion and Updates

  • The housekeeper can update task status (e.g., completed, in progress).
  • The front desk can track housekeeping tasks in real time.



This feature helps hotels manage housekeeping efficiently, ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed on time.
