A travel agent is a person whose job is to book rooms for end clients (individuals, groups, corporations) on behalf of hotels. The hotelier would be getting bookings from offline/online Travel Agent, So it is required to add that Travel agent in the eZee absolute PMS database.
Steps to Create a Travel Agent
Navigate to Travel Agent Setup
- Go to Cashiering > Travel Agent.
- Click on Add Travel Agent.
Enter Travel Agent Details
- Click on Add Travel Agent
- Fill in the required fields:
- Travel Agent Name
- Contact Information (Email, Phone, Address)
- Commission Percentage (if applicable)
- Credit Limit (if applicable)
- Click on Add Travel Agent
Set Commission & Billing Preferences (Optional)
- Assign commission settings for the travel agent.
- Define if invoices should be billed directly to the agent.
Select the rate and inventory mode:
- Inventory Mode
Regular: If the inventory is managed from PMS
Allocated: If the inventory is managed from the Channel Manager - Rate Mode
Regular: If the rate needs to be the same as of PMS
Allocated: If the rate needs to be the same as of the Channel Manager
Special: If the rate needs to be managed separately from PMS Configuration
Nonlinear: If the rate needs to manage as nonlinear
- Inventory Mode
Save & Activate the Travel Agent
- Click Save to add the travel agent.
- The agent will now be available in the system for bookings.
How to Activate a Travel Agent (If Already Created)
Go to Travel Agent List
- Navigate to Front Office > Masters > Travel Agent.
Find the Inactive Travel Agent
- Locate the agent in the list.
- If the status is Inactive, click on Edit.
Activate the Travel Agent
- Enable the Active Status.
- Click Save Changes.
