How to activate a Travel Agent in eZee Absolute?

To add or edit a travel agent in eZee Absolute, follow these steps:


  1. Accessing the Travel Agent Database:

    • Navigate to the eZee Absolute Front.
    • Click on the three lines (≡) to open the menu.
    • Select Cashiering > Travel Agent Database.



  1. Adding or Editing a Travel Agent:

    • To add a new agent, click Add.
    • To modify an existing agent, select the agent and click Edit.



  1. Configuring Inventory and Rate Modes:

    • Inventory Mode:
      • Regular: Inventory managed from PMS.
      • Allocated: Inventory managed from the Channel Manager.
    • Rate Mode:
      • Regular: Rates same as PMS.
      • Allocated: Rates same as the Channel Manager.
      • Special: Rates managed separately in PMS Configuration.
      • Nonlinear: Rates managed as nonlinear.


 



User Privileges Required:

  • Ensure the user has the following privileges:
    • Navigate to eZee Configuration > User > Edit User > Privileges.
    • Under Front Office, enable Add Travel Agent and Edit Travel Agent.
