When you save an order in eZee Optimus, both the Receipt / Guest Check and KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) may get printed at the same time. This behavior is controlled through the Peripheral Settings in the system.
Root Cause : -
This usually happens because the setting "Print Receipt / Guest Check on Save" is enabled for specific Order Types (like Dine In, Takeaway, Room Service, etc.) in the Peripheral Settings.
If this option is selected, the system will automatically print the receipt upon saving an order, along with the KOT.
✅ How to resolve this?
To stop the Receipt from printing together with the KOT when saving an order, follow these steps:
Go to Order Summary screen.
Click on the ☰ menu icon on the top-left and select Peripheral Settings (under Other section).
In the Peripheral Settings window:
Click on the Common Settings tab.
Locate the row Print Receipt / Guest Check on Save.
Uncheck the boxes for the respective Order Types where you do not want the receipt to print on Save.
Click on the Save button to apply the changes.

This setting is order type specific, meaning you can customize the printing behavior for each order type (Dine In, Takeaway, Delivery, Room Service, etc.) independently.
