Meal Plan Definitions – There are some industry standards for Meal Plans
American Plan (AP) – Includes three meals per day at the hotel, i.e. breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Bed & Breakfast (BB) – Breakfast is included in the rate.
Continental Plan (CP) – A continental breakfast normally consists of coffee or tea, juice, and bread breakfast, all other food provided by the hotel is billed.
European Plan (EP) – Does not include any meals. The advantage of the European Plan is that guests have more options to try a variety of restaurant experiences, and can often save money by eating out at restaurants that charge less than the hotel dining room.
This applied Meal plan requires to change due to updates in-room charges, wrong selection of rate plan, etc.
How to Access: In order to change the meal plan please follow the below steps and video.
Location: There are several ways we can update room charges for inhouse guests like.
- eZee Absolute PMS >> Stay view >> Edit transaction
- eZee Absolute PMS >> Front Office >> Reservations >> Edit transaction
- eZee Absolute PMS >> Front Office >> Reservations >> Arrivals >> Edit transaction
Pre-requisition: eZee absolute >> Go to Configuration >> Master >> General >> Meal plan >> Add meal plan.
User Privilege: eZee absolute >> Go to Configuration >> User >> Edit user >> Privileges >> Front Office >> Edit transaction after check in
Screenshot 1: Click on that booking and select Edit Reservation >> Room Charges (Tab) >> Click on "update details" button >> Select Update Meal Plan
Screenshot 2: Select Meal plan which wants to update >> Click on save >> (Choose) Apply To Selected Dates or Apply To the Whole Stay >> Apply.
Report: After updating the Meal Plan, if you want to see in Report, you can refer to Audit Trails Report, In this report, you can refer to Operation: Meal Plan Change, from there you can refer what was old meal plan and what is the new meal plan.
