Many times property offers different rates during different seasons like Peak Season, Low Season, Festivals, etc. also they can define the different rates for corporate or company guests. But some time front desk operators make mistakes while adding reservations to the system.
How to Access: In order to charge rate type after guest check-in please follow the below steps and video.
Location: There are several ways we can update rate type for inhouse guests like.
- eZee Absolute PMS >> Stay view >> Edit transaction
- eZee Absolute PMS >> Front Office >> Reservations >> Edit transaction
- eZee Absolute PMS >> Front Office >> Reservations >> Arrivals >> Edit transaction
User Privilege: eZee absolute >> Go to Configuration >> User >> Edit user >> Privileges >> Front Office >> Access to change rate type.
Pre-requisite: eZee absolute >> Go to Configuration >> Rates >> Rate type.
Screenshot 1: Click on that booking and select Edit Reservation >> Room Charges (Tab) >> Click on "update details" button >> Select Update Rate type.
Report: After updating the Rate type, if you want to see in Report, you can refer to Audit Trails Report, In this report, you can refer to Operation: Room Ratetype Change, from there you can refer to what was old Rate type and what is new Rate type.
