Q: What is a Complimentary Room in eZee Absolute?

A Complimentary Room is a reservation where no charges are applied to the guest. It is typically used for internal use such as the hotel owner’s stay, VIP guests, or promotional giveaways. The system blocks the inventory but does not generate any payment or invoice by default.

Q: When is it useful to use Complimentary Room Booking?

• Owner’s personal stay at the property

• VIP guest stays as a goodwill gesture

• Promotional giveaways to attract future business

• Internal testing or property inspection purposes

This ensures the room is reserved and reflected in the system without affecting revenue reports.

Q: Will it Generate an Invoice Number?

No. Since no payment is involved, no invoice number is generated automatically for a Complimentary Room reservation.

Q: Can Invoice Generation Be Stopped or Customized?

By default, Complimentary Room bookings do not generate invoices. However, if needed for record purposes, a manual invoice can be created later, but this is optional.

Q: How to Add a Complimentary Room Reservation in eZee Absolute?

1. Navigate to Add Reservation in eZee Absolute.

2. Enter Check-in and Check-out dates and time.

3. Select the number of rooms, room type, and guest details.

4. Under Reservation Type, choose Confirm Booking.

5. Check the option Complimentary Room.

6. Fill in the necessary guest information (Name, Mobile, Email, etc.).

7. The system will automatically set the room rate to ₹0.00, and the Billing Summary will reflect:

   • Room Charges: ₹0.00

   • Taxes: ₹0.00

   • Due Amount: ₹0.00

8. Click Save or Confirm Booking to complete the process.
