Introduction:

Over time, duplicate Company or Travel Agent profiles may get created in the system. To maintain accurate records and avoid confusion, these profiles can be consolidated (merged) into a single Master Profile.


Common Queries:


Q1. Why should I consolidate profiles?
Consolidation helps to avoid duplicate records, ensures accurate reporting, and simplifies financial tracking.


Q2. What happens to balances when profiles are merged?
After consolidation, only the balance of the selected Master Profile will be retained and shown.


Q3. Can I undo a consolidation?
No, once profiles are consolidated, the action cannot be reversed. Ensure you select the correct Master Profile before proceeding.


Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Open the menu

    • Click on the three-line Menu button in the upper left corner.


  2. Go to Cashiering

    • Select Cashiering from the menu options.

  3. Access Company / Travel Agent Database

    • Click on Company / Travel Agent Database.

  4. Select profiles

    • Choose the Company profiles you want to consolidate (merge).

  5. Consolidate

    • Click on Consolidate.

  6. Choose Master Profile

    • Select the Master Profile you want to set.

    • Click on Consolidate again to complete the process.
          


Important Note ⚠️

  • Out of all the profiles you merge, only the balance of the Master Profile will be retained and displayed.

  • Make sure to carefully review and select the correct Master Profile before finalizing the consolidation.
